Scratch, I noticed a lonely half-full bowl of donut muffins. Scratch
rose to prominence on the quality of their delectable donut muffins, but over 2 years later, the item feels rote and tired. The question I ask is, how important is it to have a signature item that is good, but not so good that you sell out of every day, that is there every single day, though the bakers may be tired of baking, and has little room for modernization?
